Executive Team 

Takia Roberts

Founder

Chief Executive Officer

Takia is the Founder and CEO of DynaSolar and Armada Wind.  He has specialized in commercial and utility solar for more than ten years, with involvement in the construction trades for over twenty years. He has direct experience in installation, sales, on-site job management, project development, system design, design auditing, bidding, process implementation, and company growth management. Takia's large scale PV installation techniques have been used in solar training manuals and videos and have set the standard for installation speed and quality. Takia has been involved in the construction of over 1.6 GW of commercial and utility scale solar PV projects and has led the DynaSolar team in successfully implementing one of the largest solar project funds in the United States. The DynaSolar team continues involvement with this portfolio of projects, serving as the O&M contractor for the Western United States. DynaSolar has managed the installation of over $1 billion of operating solar and wind assets in the last six years.

 

Thomas A. Polich

General Counsel

Chief Administrative Officer

 

Thomas is the General Counsel/Chief Administrative Officer of DynaSolar. He has 30 years’ experience in the energy industry, including 22 years direct experience in solar, serving in the capacities of counsel, General Counsel/Secretary, and COO for R&D, manufacturing, product and project development and construction companies. His legal practice emphasizes transactions in solar development, technologies and equipment, including, in part, business development, mergers, product sales, strategic alliances, intellectual property, trade and tariffs, equipment technologies, compliance, and financing.  Mr. Polich earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law and holds a BA Environmental Conservation, University of Colorado, Boulder.  Mr. Polich was a Lecturer in Law/Adjunct Professor, University of Denver, College of Law, published and has presented at numerous tradeshows and for private entities on issues such as tariffs & trade, PPAs, state solar regulation, SRECs, ITC, tax implications, development issues and recently the industries’ participation in Block Chain and Crypto-Currencies.  Mr. Polich is licensed to practice law in Colorado.

 

Brian Maul

 

Brian heads DynaSolar’s primary business operations. Over the last fifteen years, he has led cross-functional teams in the closing of nearly one billion dollars of complex commercial transactions in the oil and gas and wind and solar industries. Brian received his MBA from Rice University and his BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College. Brian’s career has been spent supporting the construction of energy infrastructure projects, from gas pipelines to wind farms to solar power stations. He brings experience in project development, design and engineering, equipment supply, construction management and operations and maintenance to DynaSolar.

Our Team 

James Roberson

Senior Site Manager

James is a Senior Site Manager with extensive management experience in operations, project management, sales, marketing and strategic planning. He joined the commercial solar field in 2009 as Director of Operations for SNRYPower. He worked with Georgia Public Service Commission, Governor’s office and Georgia Power to have the first Large Scale Solar Offering of 50 MW to be approved. He also worked with Simon Solar Farm (30 MW) and Solar Design and Development (20 MW) to be awarded the first 2 contracts for the LSS. James holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, as well as a Masters Certification in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. James has a B.B.A. with a Dual Major in Marketing and Professional Selling from Kennesaw State University, an A.B.A. with a Major in Marketing from Reinhardt College, and a four-year Technical Degree in Automotive Mechanics from Pickens Area Technical School.

Kim Cole

President of DynaSolar Services

Over the past 10 years Kim has been involved with over 100 MW of successful large scale installations. She was an integral part of the successful launch of DynaSolar's Operations & Maintenance division. Kim is now the President of DynaSolar Services, managing a portfolio utility-scale PV projects in the U.S.  Kim’s ability to analyze data, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and communicate up and down the chain supports the DynaSolar family of companies in identifying movement and opportunities in the solar and other industries.


Frank Arcanin

Vice President of DynaSolar Services

Frank is the Vice President of DynaSolar Services and has worked in the Electrical Construction, and Operations & Maintenance Industry for 34 years. With over 25 years of experience in Project, Operations, and Business Management, he brings superior skill and in-depth knowledge to all aspects of the Renewable Energy Market. While at SunEdison Frank directed Operations & Maintenance activities, contracts, and optimized site production for 200+ Utility and Distributed Generation sites in the US and Canada. Frank has been credited with Industry Pioneering Achievements for Safety, Service and Customer Satisfaction. He has a celebrated track record of success specializing in O&M Contract Compliance, Site Optimization, and Operational Excellence. Frank received his BA from the University of Phoenix, holds a PMP, California C10 electrical contractors license, as well as over 16 other industry certifications.


Marc Dellorco

Manager of Technical Business Development

Marc has been a professional in the solar industry for over 14 years and has worked with Takia Roberts for over 11 of those years. He has performed a wide variety of tasks including design, project management, utility applications, permitting, due diligence, financial sourcing and business development for utility scale projects. In 2011, Marc worked with a team of solar professionals to create DynaSolar EPCM. Prior to working with DynaSolar EPCM, Marc owned his own solar consulting business. At DynaSolar, Marc’s current responsibilities include project origination, due diligence, and technical business development. Marc has participated in several hundred MW’s of installed projects.
